A visual gaming experience that captures the imagination that most people have when reading using Unreal Engine 5 and Meta Human software. Forming your interpretation of a story in one's mind is an exceptional ability that should be captured for all to see. Journeys tackles the idea that books will showcase a visual representation of what's happening between each page as the audience reads through the story. A concept that I wanted to forge within the creation of Journeys was that of making the game a live rendition of a children's book. It fully captures what one might interpret when looking at each on a given page. The game is a simple 3D platformer with hidden secrets and puzzles that take the reader on an adventure to seek out a lost hidden shrine within a castle located on a remote island. Will the player get the temple, or fold under pressure to the obstacles around them?

Inspiration
I always loved the idea of a character exploring a space that's inhabited by something more powerful than them. The idea is that the silent protagonist stumbled upon an island that was once inhabited by giants long ago. They left an ancient relic of the past on the top of the castle, and it's the job of the player to get up to the top. I took inspiration from old children's maze puzzles since I was infatuated with them when I was younger, and believed that they could bring the difficulty level between different age groups. I made sure that my little sister and my parents for example could find difficulty in completing the level.
