Plague Doctor Mask by lepwnerer
Pandam Pandam 1951
I created a picture through Blender and Photoshop highlighting items from the performance Pandam Pandam 1951 (a performance done within Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance) that I found interesting during my viewing of the performance in terms of unsettling they were or how integral the item was to the performance. The " narrator " used the plague doctor mask in the beginning while also highlighting the setting and bizarre aspects that we as the audience are about to experience. The narrator's freakish movements when the human rang the bell were very unsettling, which helped me remember that character a lot more. The record player was integral to the performance, as the music played from it affected the movement of the performers depending on the speed and pitch. While the music was being played, the performers were seen moving faster while getting out of a trance-like state. I created a spotlight that shines on top of the items because the human who owned it was surrounded by the other performers, being under said stoplight while everyone was reaching for them, as they stared into the said spotlight later on the night before the first intermission.
